LEAD WAREHOUSE & LOGISTICS
About the role: Unipol Dome is looking for a highly organized and proactive Lead Warehouse & Logistics to oversee and coordinate all warehouse operations within our venue. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficiency, accuracy, and continuity of internal logistics processes, supporting both venue operations and the Food & Beverage department. The successful candidate will lead a team of warehouse staff while driving operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and compliance with safety standards.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations Management
Oversee daily operations of the central warehouse and departmental storage areas, with a particular focus on Food & Beverage logistics.
Monitor inventory levels, stock rotation, storage capacity, and replenishment activities.
Collaborate with Procurement and internal stakeholders to ensure adequate stock availability.
Maintain warehouse organization, cleanliness, and operational standards in accordance with 5S principles.
Support operational handling activities when required.
Inventory & Stock Control
Ensure accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation processes.
Monitor incoming and outgoing goods, verifying quantity and quality compliance.
Analyze stock discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Maintain up-to-date inventory records and warehouse mapping.
Team Leadership
Coordinate and supervise warehouse personnel, assigning priorities and daily activities.
Foster a collaborative, safety-oriented, and performance-driven working environment.
Support training, development, and performance management initiatives for warehouse staff.
Logistics & Internal Distribution
Ensure efficient internal distribution of materials and supplies across the venue.
Coordinate deliveries, storage, and dispatch activities to support events and operational requirements.
Optimize workflows to improve efficiency and service levels.
Compliance & Safety
Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety regulations, and quality standards.
Promote safe working practices and proper use of warehouse equipment.
Monitor adherence to operational policies and regulatory requirements.
About You
Requirements
4–5 years of experience in logistics roles within structured or complex organizations.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience managing teams (both internal and external) as well as third-party suppliers.
Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse management systems (ERP, WMS) and advanced Excel skills.
Understanding of logistics processes related to Food & Beverage operations, including storage, stock rotation, and inventory flows.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on approach and willingness to support operational activities when required.
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours during events.
Fluent Italian and English language skills.
Preferred: Forklift operator certification and experience using warehouse handling equipment.
